God the Father has made it clear that His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, is enough. Consider the many blessings that God has made available through Jesus Christ. You will find that Jesus is always enough.
- He has provided enough mercy, grace and blessing.
- He has provided enough joy, peace, and love.
- His blood is enough to cover your sin and afford protection.
- His sacrifice is enough to save anyone who would come to God by Him.
- His blood is enough before the Father.
Evaluate for yourself and you will find God’s provision through Christ to be enough.
Ephesians 1:3 NKJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
God’s rich blessing has been secured in heaven, but He intends to reveal and manifest that in us here on earth.
Matthew 6:10 NKJV Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
We want to explore the depths of what God wants to achieve in us through Christ.
To supply all your need, God has put very great emphasis upon Christ. Every spiritual blessing in Christ is enough for all of your need. The magnitude of the supply that is in Christ is greater than the accumulation of all our need.
Put everything together that you have needed or will ever need throughout eternity and you will find that Jesus Christ is enough.
Philippians 4:19 NKJV And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
That is enough to supply present and eternal hope in Christ. That is enough spiritual power to provide victory over every foe. Christ is enough to supply every spiritual blessing. Jesus Christ supplies the unity of our faith and the bonds of our fellowship. Every spiritual blessing includes the necessary cleansing and grace to make us accepted before God in His throne. Every spiritual blessing provides spiritual power in Christ. Every blessing of glory is in Christ.
God is revealing the extensive work that has been accomplished for us in Christ.
By His Own good pleasure, God the Father is bringing upon us every spiritual blessing that is secured in Christ Jesus. These spiritual blessings in Christ tap into the treasure of every privilege He provides.
Consider what God the Father is blessing you with.
Ephesians 1:3 NKJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Every blessing that is in Christ is secured in the heavenly realms. Consider the magnitude of what that is saying. Should you stand in heaven right now, there would be no deficit of spiritual blessing. God wants to bring into believers’ lives every spiritual blessing that is in Christ. That is enough for whatever we may face.
God is determined to have the same power, authority, and rule on earth as He has in heaven.
To this end, the Lord taught the disciples to pray that God’s rule would be established in our lives and situations now. This is why it is crucial for the church, the body of believers, to assume their rightful position in the world. We need to come into a fuller understanding of Kingdom principles, activities, and power.
God has placed a very great emphasis upon the supply of our need in Christ.
All the spiritual blessings are in Christ. The bounty and supply for all of your need is in Christ. He is your healing, salvation and spiritual blessing. He is the full supply of grace and mercy. Jesus Christ is your supply and provision. By Christ, we are held secure and protected. He is the assurance of every spiritual blessing and eternal possession. In Christ Jesus, you can rest secure in your present and future security. Access into the wonders of all eternal glories are in Christ.
Think about the fact that all spiritual power is in Christ.
When Jesus conquered principalities and powers and rulers of darkness, He did it for everyone that trusts in Him. Jesus Christ is the force and security of our protection and power.
God is revealing what He has achieved for us in His Son Jesus Christ our Lord. By His own good pleasure, God the Father is bringing upon us every spiritual blessing that is in Christ Jesus.
Think about this.
Every day we are being enriched by the treasure of the Son of God and all of the privileges He provides. To achieve this in our lives, the Holy Spirit is constantly working to apply each of these blessings to our lives.
Think about the impact these spiritual blessings have on your daily life.
People without Christ do not know these blessings. Only Jesus can provide these things. We really recognize the depth of these spiritual blessings when we are under attack. When the unbeliever is under attack, they have no promise from God. We have substantial help in Jesus Christ. We are filled with faith and hope and are given rest and strength in the Lord.
God has made a dramatic change in us.
- He saved us by the power of His redeeming blood.
- When He saved us, He changed us.
- When He changed us, He gave us His Spirit, power, and authority.
- When He gave us His Spirit, power, and authority, He connected us to the ministry of Christ.
- When He connected us to the ministry of Christ, He made us an overcomer and conqueror.
- When He made us an overcomer and conqueror, He positioned us in Christ’s victory.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NIV84 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
This is powerful news for everyone who puts their faith and trust in Christ. We are not limited to natural physical methods of dealing with the issues of life. We have weapons that have divine power to destroy strongholds.
What does that mean? When the greatest and strongest forces of evil come against us, we are made strong through Christ. Even the gates of hell shall not prevail against us.
Jesus is enough for every situation we may face.
Jesus is enough for the flood and the fire, and the storm and the wind. He is enough for every principality and power.
God almighty has a purpose behind all that He is doing in us through Christ.
Ephesians 3:10 NIV His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.
This relates to every blessings that is in Christ Jesus.
God is demonstrating through us His great wisdom and power.
He is making an open display of His blessing in the church. He is saying, “These people are the blessed of the Lord.” He is saying, “This is the reward of Christ.” This is a declaration that Jesus Christ is enough. All of the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms recognize what God has accomplished through Christ.
Consider the width and depth, length and height of the spiritual blessings that are prepared in heaven for us in Christ.
- All holiness, righteousness and glory is there.
- All peace, love, and joy is there.
- All hope, trust and faith is there.
- All beauty and majesty is there.
- All glory, grace and mercy is in this.
There is no end to the measure of these blessings. There is an infinite measure of these blessings in heaven.
The heavenly Father wants to show His favor to you with these heavenly blessings here on earth.
God almighty is making a difference in everyone who belongs to Him through Christ. He has hemmed us in and covered us with His goodness, power and love. Right now, the heavenly Father wants you to enjoy and realize all of His spiritual blessings.
God wants to manifest His kingdom and will on earth as it is in heaven. He is applying the full impact of Christ’s victory to our lives and equipping and filling us with His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is constantly exalting Christ and filling us to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. As a result of His action, God is using you to make known His manifold wisdom.
Colossians 2:6-7 NIV84 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
These words are not just expressing our reliance on Jesus Christ, they are demonstrating the source of our strength. Sometimes it is difficult to realize the greatness of His power and might that is invested in us.
God wants us to open our understanding so we can know the immense greatness of His power that is working in us.
Ephesians 1:18-19 HCSB I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.
What is the immeasurable greatness of His power?
- It is His power.
- It is the power of God that is necessary to bring the riches of His inheritance.
- It is power beyond our ability to measure.
- It is the power God used to redeem us.
- It is power sufficient to defeat the power of sin.
- It was power to strip principalities and powers and rulers of darkness of any authority.
- It is power to conquer hell and death.
- It is power to put all things under Christ’s feet.
Try to grasp the magnitude of power and the connection God has made to you. God’s immeasurable power has been exercised toward us who believe.
How did God demonstrate this power?
Ephesians 1:20-23 HCSB He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens — far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of the One who fills all things in every way.
When Christ was raised from the dead and seated at the Father’s right hand, God was doing this for you.
All of the hosts of hell were defeated by God’s power. Every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given became subject to Him. Christ’s victory was a shattering defeat of Satan, sin, and death.
The vast blessing of this power is revealed in everyone who believes.
As a result of what God did in Christ, we can receive these vast spiritual blessings. Every spiritual blessing is open and available to us.
Jesus Christ is enough.
As a result of our union with Him, we are made rich in Christ.
- We are made the righteousness of God in Christ.
- We are made holy, accepted and beloved in Christ.
- We have peace, the peace of Christ.
- We have power and authority in Christ.
- Whatever the point of our need, the answer is in Christ.
The depth of the richness of this is as vast as Christ. Jesus Christ is enough.
God has prepared enough for every situation and condition in Christ.
Philippians 4:19 NKJV And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
