Connected — Greatly Blessed

Consider the fact that our heavenly Father loves His Son and has given all things into His hand, (John 3:31). God the Father is perfectly pleased with His Son, Jesus Christ. In Matthew 3:17, after the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus in the form of a dove, the Father spoke from heaven and said, “This is my one dear Son; in Him I take great delight.” God was saying, “My soul delights in My Son, Jesus Christ.” God the Father was so delighted in His Son that He put all things under Christ’s feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things, (Ephesians 1:22-23). Then God greatly blessed every believer by connecting us to the One who fills all things. All who are connected and in Christ Jesus have been brought into God’s favor and blessings. The Holy Spirit is revealing to us the meaning of Jesus Christ’s work on the cross. He is showing us the incredible blessings this brings to our lives. We have been greatly blessed and highly favored to be connected to Jesus Christ the Son of God.

Hebrews 3:14 NIV84 We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.

All of us who have been redeemed and adopted into the family of God have been made partakers of Christ.

The implications of everything that is involved in this are tremendous. We are now in Christ and we must be fully equipped in faith and knowledge of the Son of God to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, (Ephesians 4:13). We are presented with the possibility of growing up in all things into Christ and being connected together as one. Being “Connected In Christ” is finding our foundation, existence, reliance, and trust in Christ. Being “Connected In Christ” is finding the source for true holiness, righteousness, and victorious living. Being “Connected in Christ” has brought about many wonderful changes in our lives. “In Christ” we are greatly blessed.

We have become a delight to the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Father delights in us because we are connected and partakers of Christ. All of the blessing and favor of God comes down to us through the Lord.

As we “partake of Christ,” we find these blessings.

Our satisfaction, blessing, and healing come from what Jesus Christ has provided. He gives relief and release from the burdens we have borne.

The Apostle Paul clearly declares the profound blessings bestowed upon us through Christ.

• Romans 3:24 – we are being justified freely by His grace
• Romans 6:11 – we are alive to God in Christ
• Romans 6:23 – we have eternal life in Christ
• Romans 8:1-2 – “There is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus”
• Romans 8:39 – Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ
• Romans 12:5 – we are one body in Christ
• 1 Corinthians 1:2 – sanctified in Christ
• 1 Corinthians 15:18-19 – “we have hope in Christ”
• 1 Corinthians 15:22 – “in Christ all will be made alive”
• 2 Corinthians 1:21 – “God makes us stand firm in Christ”
• 2 Corinthians 2:14 – “God always leads us in triumph in Christ”
• 2 Corinthians 5:17 – in Christ we are a new creation
• Galatians 2:4 – we have liberty in Christ
• Ephesians 1:3 – we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ
• Ephesians 2:6-7 – raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus
• Ephesians 2:13 – in Christ Jesus we have been brought near to God by the blood of Christ
• Ephesians 3:6 – we are partakers of His promise in Christ
• Colossians 1:28 – we are presented perfect in Christ Jesus
• 2 Timothy 2:10 – we obtain salvation in Christ Jesus

If you have been connected by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ, you must become fully aware of the immense blessings that await you.

The riches of glory that are in Christ are at the disposal of all who have been redeemed. We have been purchased by the blood and the cross of Christ.

We have been set free from the bondage of sin and delivered into this glorious liberty. Jesus Christ has set you free. He has made it possible for you to enter into what He has provided. You can enter into the riches of Christ. You can come into His grace. You can come into His victory. You can abide under His protection and covering. We can be filled with His wisdom, power and holiness.

Do you hear Him calling you to come?

The Holy Spirit is calling us to dig into the things Christ has attained and fully provided. Press on into the joy that is set before you.

What is this new life in Christ like?

It is a life of presence and power.

When you are connected to Christ you are walking in the presence of the King of Kings. You are being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is a life of vision.

Vision is the ability to see above and beyond the majority. Vision is seeing through the eyes of God. Vision is the ability to look at life with divine perspective.

It is a life of determination.

In Christ, we have the ability to remain consistent regardless of the obstacles or the odds. We don’t have to be tossed with every wave and wind that comes against us. He gives us stability and continuance.

Being in Christ has made everything that Christ has available to you.

If we want to know all that is available, we need to do two things.

First, we need to know what Christ has conquered.

The scripture makes it clear that Christ has conquered all of the negative forces that sin and Satan can bring. He has conquered hell, death and the grave. He has conquered sin, sickness, and every vile thing that comes against us. He has conquered principalities, powers, and the rulers of darkness. Not only has He conquered, He has given us the power and ability to overcome and conquer.

Second, if you want to know what it is to be in Christ, look at His names.

The Father has given Jesus a name that is above every other name. At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. The name of Jesus is a powerful name. His Name is Wonderful, Counselor, Prince of Peace. His Name is Immanuel, God with us. His Name is Savior, Healer, Deliverer. His Name is King of King, and Lord of Lords. His Name is Master, Conqueror, Captain of the Lord’s Hosts.

You have been greatly blessed by being connected to the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

He is inviting you to come and fully partake of everything He is. There is room for all of us. There is refreshing and restoration in Him. There is help, healing, victory, and life. Settle down into what God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. We need to settle this and take a stand on this. We need to become firmly fixed in this. We must not waver in this.
