Revelation
The first three verses announce the revelation of Jesus Christ is the purpose for the book.
John begins the message to the church by addressing the seven churches in the Roman province of Asia.
After declaring that the Lord is coming with clouds and every eye will see Him, John had an amazing encounter with the Son of Man.
The next two chapters of Revelation is a special address to the church.
As we progress through the seven churches of Asia, we notice the church in its strength and weakness.
We are looking at the last two of the seven churches of Asia – Philadelphia, Laodicea.
